WELCOME TO US
Das Heimatmuseum Nutli Hüschi ist ein altes Walserhaus aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Sein Erbauer hiess Christen Nutli.
Bis im Jahre 1910 war das Haus bewohnt. Dr.h.c. Fritz Schoellhorn aus Winterthur, einer der ersten Klosterser Feriengäste, hat das baufällige Haus 1918 gekauft und wieder instand stellen lassen. Heute ist es eines der ältesten Häuser in Klosters. Die einzigartige Sammlung alter Gebrauchsgegenstände und Möbel wurden von Fritz Schoellhorn in Klosters und Umgebung zusammengetragen.
1954 wurde das Nutli Hüschi mit dem gesamten Inventar von seinem Sohn, Dr. Georg Schoellhorn der Gemeinde Klosters geschenkt. Heute bietet es die Möglichkeit, die traditionelle Lebensweise und die Bauart der Walser zu erleben. Das Museum zeigt ein lebendiges Bild von Geschichte, Brauchtum und Handwerk aus längst vergangenen Zeiten.
Im Jahre 1997 wurde das Museum durch einem Stall ergänzt. Seit 2017 bereichert zudem das Bachhüschi das Museumsangebot.
Die vielen Besonderheiten und die jährlich wechselnde Sonderausstellung lassen immer wieder neue Entdeckungen zu.

The Nutli Hüschi is located 200 m from the old church of St. Jakob, at the intersection of Monbielerstrasse / Talstrasse.
PARKING
No parking at the museum.
Parking available at Casanna car park and at the old primary school building.

BACHHÜSCHI
Since 2017, the Bachhüschi has enriched the museum’s offering.
From the end of July to the end of October we bake our popular wood-fired bread and plaits every Friday, which we offer for sale.
OFFERS / PRICES
In cooperation with Davos Klosters Tourism, we offer interested guests and locals the opportunity to bake their own wood-fired bread in the summer. The price includes a tour of the Rohrmühle and admission to the museum.
Davos Klosters Tourism accepts registrations.
Bread baking for groups of 5 or more (also for school classes), followed by a guided tour of the museum and/or the Rohrmühle.
